What is Pedorthics?
Pedorthics is managing and treating conditions affecting the foot, ankle, and lower extremities. Our physiotherapists trained in Pedorthics will select and modify footwear to help people maintain or regain as much function as possible.
In some cases, we can make or customize a shoe or orthosis to make sure you can stand, walk and perform your normal daily activities pain-free. Footwear adjustments can make all the difference no matter what condition you are dealing with.
We will adjust the inside or outside of a shoe to give you relief and improve your function. Our physiotherapists will provide personalized attention in selecting, fitting, and modifying shoes so that you can wear orthotics effectively.
In addition to addressing foot, ankle, and lower leg problems, our team will address your footwear to help you resolve any and all foot-related issues, including conditions that affect lower back pain, pelvic imbalances, or other limits to your physical function in any way.

Our pedorthists follow up to make sure the footwear functions as your doctor prescribed.
