Idris has extensive equine physiotherapy experience in Canada and internationally. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Gulf Medical University Ajman UAE, MBA in Health Care, and Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from Atlantic International University USA, Fellowship in Orthopaedic Rehabilitation from Apollo Hospital and Research Foundation India, Fellowship in Manual Therapy from London Academy of Sports and health Sciences United kingdom, Certified in Therapeutic Exercises from both National Academy of Sports Medicine and International Association of Sports Science in the USA. Idris has also completed the McKenzie method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy courses, part (A, B, & C) from Robin Mackenzie Institute, Canada. While Idris has an extensive physiotherapy experience. He advanced his knowledge and completed a Graduate Certificate in Pain Management from the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research, School of Rehabilitation Medicine at the University of Alberta, Canada.
Having worked in a variety of settings: hospital-based physiotherapy, outpatient orthopaedic clinics, surgery, medicine, concussion and sports medicine, Idris can bring a multifaceted perspective to the treatment approach. Idris is a physiotherapist who is dedicated to continuing his education and developing his clinical skills. He consistently thrives to evolve his practice by merging the most current, evidence-based literature with a holistic approach. Idris is passionate about his work and takes pride in connecting with his patients as they embark on their healing and recovery journeys.
