Terri is a highly seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) with an illustrious career spanning over three decades. Her journey began with the successful completion of the Diploma of Health Sciences Nursing program at Algonquin College in Ottawa in 1991, setting the stage for a lifelong commitment to healthcare excellence.

Commencing her nursing career as a practitioner on the James Bay Coast immediately after graduation, Terri’s dedication and expertise became evident early on. She later broadened her horizons by contributing to emergency care in Saudi Arabia, showcasing her adaptability and global perspective. A significant chapter of her hospital career unfolded at the prestigious Ottawa Hospital, where she concluded her service on a short-term rehabilitation unit.

Terri’s impact extended beyond routine nursing duties. Recognized as an intravenous (IV) expert, she assumed the crucial role of the wound care resource person on her unit at the Ottawa Hospital, showcasing her leadership and specialized skills. Always striving for professional growth, Terri achieved the Advanced Diabetic Foot Care Nurse Certificate in 2021, further enhancing her proficiency in this specialized domain.

Since obtaining her advanced certification, Terri has ventured into entrepreneurship, establishing her own mobile foot care business. Her commitment to excellence and patient well-being is not confined to hospital walls but extends into the personalized and convenient services she provides in the mobile foot care sector.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Terri channels her passion for making a positive impact into animal rescue efforts. Actively engaged with APM Rescue for many years, she exemplifies her dedication to community service, demonstrating a compassionate and well-rounded approach to life.
